If my concurrent planning of three storytimes relating to the winter season (winter, Christmas, and penguin themes) is any indication, yes...yes, I am.
I tried to limit myself to one storytime, but I have a stack of like thirty books sitting on my living room floor right now, and I was having a really hard time narrowing them down to only three. I realized all of these books broke down fairly neatly into the above three categories, and there I was, planning three winter-themed storytimes at once and loving every minute of it.
I can't even call it three, really...the psychosis spun so far out of control that it ended up being one penguin-themed storytime, both a toddler- and a preschool-level Christmas storytime (we don't even do storytimes during December where I work--what is wrong with me?!), and at least one winter-themed storytime...possibly two. I might be crazy. But that's ok.
Oh, Christmastime, you're my favorite thing in the whole world.
